If you are the registered Help Meister administrator for your account, you were given a separate URL, typically http://helpmeister.bizware.com/login.php/[Username] where [Username] is your Username. You will need to enter that along with a password to enter.

Clicking on the new "Admin" button your administrator's version of the command line presents a sub-command bar with buttons from "Add Help" through "Reports".

"Add Help" is the default and where you find yourself until you make other sub-menu choices.

First-time users adding a new help record should click on the field names for Help Meister's own help. The "Alt" field will thus reveal that to be the text users see on their cursor's tool tip when they mouse over the help link (to give users a link preview). The "Help Located" allows Administrators to note the pages and forms that use this particular help record -- a handy feature used in the reports described near the end.

The "Link to Paste" is the tag to paste into your web page to bring up the associated Help Meister help record, along with all its features. The "Copy" button puts it into your clipboard for convenience, and you paste it with whatever editor you use. You continue to use your HTML editor or online programming environment.

Once the Help Meister tag is placed, you can forget about it, and make all help-related changes using Help Meister. The "Test" button displays the pop-up help as seen by the user, with whatever "Link Type" layout you set (see below).

Finding help using Help Meister's keyword index is one of its best features. Click on Add Keywords, the next slide along the top, to see how to associate keywords with the example help record below.
